A carbon steel mesh basket holding around 15 lbs — enough for a power strip, its adapters, and the slack around them. Two holes on either side let cables pass straight through instead of being looped over the rim.

Side clips grip the desk edge through those holes and tighten in about three minutes, with no drilling. Soft rubber padding at each clamp face keeps the furniture unmarked. Mount it facing inward to hide the cabling, or outward when you want the strip within reach — useful on a standing desk where the run moves with the top.
