Pink, and 5mm thick — an unusual pairing. The aluminum is heavy gauge rather than the thin folded sheet most risers use, which is why it takes 8.8 lbs without a hint of movement.

The lift is 6 inches, bringing the screen up near eye height instead of merely off the desk.

Three parts slide into each other in a few seconds — screwless, toolless, nothing to lose — and it comes apart just as quickly when the desk needs clearing.

The frame tilts forward and stays open underneath, so air moves across the base of the machine during heavy work, and the keyboard and mouse park in the space below.

A hole at the back takes the charging cable, keeping it behind the screen rather than over the front edge.

E-Gold

A gold riser in 5mm aluminum alloy that lifts a laptop six inches — enough to bring the screen up and to leave room underneath for a keyboard and mouse to slide away when you finish for the day.
