Mounting onto walls: press the strap down by itself first and leave it 24 hours before loading cables. Wall finishes are coarse, so the glue wants that long to bond properly. Choose the spot deliberately — this adhesive is strong enough to lift paint when pulled off.

Sizing: these are made for typical desk and appliance cords. For four or more heavy power cables from high-draw appliances, divide them between several straps rather than forcing one bundle — it holds better and stays easier to manage.
