Turn the head toward yourself and the task light turns into webcam lighting. CRI of 95 or better keeps skin tones near daylight on a Zoom call, a video call, or a stream — the job normally handed to a separate ring light.

Nothing clamps here, and that is deliberate. Desk thickness does not matter, and neither does a desk shoved back against the wall. The weighted metal base holds position and the whole lamp lifts and moves to another room.

The swing arm carries five pivot joints: a 26.7-inch arm, a 7.09-inch head, on a base 0.27 inches thick.

Lighting is edge-lit and diffused, spread evenly rather than pooled. Brightness and colour temperature both adjust, with memory and a timer.

Eighty-four LED beads are rated for 100,000 hours.
