LED TV Backlight, SMY USB LED Strip Light

Two metres (6.56ft) of RGB strip mounted behind a TV or a monitor. The point is bias lighting: a bright screen against a dark wall creates a harsh contrast, and a glow behind it evens that out — while making the colours on screen look richer.

A 24-key RF remote handles colour changes, flash, strobe, fade, smooth, and dimming. Being RF rather than infrared, it works from 19.6 to 26.2 feet away and does not need line of sight.

Power is 5V over USB on a 1M (3.28ft) lead — from the TV itself, a PC, a laptop, a power bank, or a phone charger. Low voltage means the strip stays cool to the touch, which matters with children around.

3M adhesive tape sticks it onto almost anything, and the strip bends around corners. It suits 32 to 60-inch screens, and can be cut at the marked points to any shorter length.

Rated IP65, so it also works on stairs, a mirror, a cabinet, or seasonal decoration.
