Cork on one face, PU leather on the other. Cork sits warmer under the wrists and renews itself — it is bark, harvested without felling the tree — while the leather face gives a harder, faster surface for the mouse. Turn it over as the work changes.

This one is 47.2 × 17 inches at 2mm. Smaller cuts exist: 23.6×13.8 for a compact desk, then 27.6×13.8, 31.5×15.7, and 36×17.

Both faces shed liquid and wipe down.

One note on colour: paler finishes show marks sooner and want wiping more often than dark ones do.
