Colour runs continuously from 2500K to 8500K, which is a wider span than most work lamps offer at either end. Flicker-free and glare-free.

The lens is optical glass at 12X — enough to resolve the individual drills in a diamond painting, the traces on a circuit board, or fine print.

The arm is the standout. Three metal sections extend to 35 inches, with three knobs and six springs holding position through 360° of movement. It also collapses back down to one arm when the bench is needed clear.

Its clamp is metal, taking edges of 2.5 inches, fixing vertically or horizontally over scratch-resistant foam padding.

Memory means the settings survive being switched off. The build is heat-resistant.
