Vertical Laptop Stand, Silver

Aluminium, built for one job: holding a MacBook upright in closed-clamshell mode while a plugged-in monitor, keyboard, and mouse do the work.

Rather than a screw-adjusted slot, it ships with three exchangeable inserts, each machined for a particular generation. Insert A takes MacBook Pro 2016 through 2020 and MacBook Air 2018 through 2020. Insert B takes MacBook Pro 2021 and newer. Insert C takes MacBook Air 2022 and newer. Swapping the insert changes the fit exactly rather than approximately.

Two things to check before ordering: the cradle is sized for a bare machine — a MacBook in a case will not seat properly — and the 2024 14-inch M4 Pro is not among the supported models.

Silicone pads inside grip the machine, silicone feet underneath hold the stand on the desk, and the material resists the scratches that come from daily docking.

Standing the machine upright frees the desk and lifts it clear of anything spilled.
