Solid sapele on a retro green iron frame — FSC certified, so the timber is traceable to a managed forest, and every lamp carries a different grain.

Two ways to charge sit in the base: a Qi pad taking most wireless-capable handsets, and a USB-C port. USB-C is the faster of the two and can drive an external device as well as the lamp.

The head folds down, and the joint tension has been set deliberately — firm enough to hold an angle, loose enough to move without a fight.

The cable is nylon braided.

Wood needs a little upkeep. Wipe it with a cloth and dry it. It ships already treated with mineral oil; re-oiling with mineral or olive oil once or twice every three months keeps the grain looking right.
