Power is tiered on the USB-C side — two ports at 65W for a MacBook or another laptop, three at 30W on Power Delivery. A phone climbs from 20% to 80% in about half an hour.

A holder sized for the Apple Watch is built into the frame. No cable for the watch is supplied — that holder positions the one you already own.

Smart chips read each device as it connects and meter the current to suit it, guarding against overcharge.

The centre partition is textured against slipping, and 8 rubber pads underneath keep the whole station planted and the desk unscratched.

Slots are moulded into a single piece of flame-retardant ABS, widened and reinforced rather than clipped in.
