The slots are moulded into the housing, not clipped in. There are no removable dividers to snap or wander off, and two of the middle slots are cut wider and taller specifically to take a thicker tablet with its case left on — which is usually the device that will not fit these stations.

Four rubber pads underneath keep it still and off the desk finish.
